Klum has been infected with Corona. The candidates are therefore evaluated by the local pool instead of on site. Meanwhile, the show also talks about an experience of racism.
Model Heidi Klum (49) claims to have missed the big decision in the third episode of her casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model” because of a corona infection. Because her test showed two strips, she refrained from appearing for the shoot, said Klum.
Instead, she rated the candidates in the program that was broadcast in the evening from the home pool with a tablet in her hand. Because the decision in the second show last week was canceled due to a storm, there were two of them in this episode – one at the beginning and one classic at the end.
Candidate reports on racism experience
In the episode, top model candidate Somajia reports on experiences of racism in her youth. Once they wanted to prevent her from getting on a bus and she was racially abused, said the 21-year-old from Bielefeld, whose parents are from West African Togo.
She was shocked at the time. “No one said anything.” But today she knows how to deal with racist attacks, said the young woman and added: “I’ll never let that happen to me again.”
