Steven Spielberg revealed which of his movies is his favorite

Steven Spielberg shared which movie of hers she thinks is “pretty perfect.” The director, known for making classic movies like Jurassic Park and Sharkrevealed the filmography film to which he returns “again and again” during an interview on The Late Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

“I don’t look at my movies a lot after I make them,” Spielberg said. “I don’t look back that often, but every once in a while I watch a movie with my kids.”

“I want to accompany my children when they see ET with them for the first time. I don’t want them to watch ET without Dad sitting there, especially the scary parts at the beginning.”

“Sometimes I see things that I intended to do and didn’t, and sometimes I see things that would have been a better idea than what I see now all these years later, but for the most part, ET is a pretty perfect movie”.

He added, “It’s one of the few movies I’ve done that I can really look back on over and over again.”

ET the alien, released in 1982, won four Oscars, including Best Visual Effects and Best Original Score. The film starred Dee Wallace, Henry Thomas, Peter Coyote and Drew Barrymore.

Spielberg said that ET isn’t the only movie he’s directed that he can watch again. “I’ve done like 34 movies and, and I’m not going to name which ones beyond ET, there are about five or six movies that I can rewatch, but I don’t normally do that,” he added.

The director’s other notable credits include Raiders of the Lost Ark, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Saving Private Ryan and Catch Me If You Can.

Spielberg’s latest film is the drama The Fabelmans, which is loosely based on the director’s education. The film has been nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
