Siegfried and Roy: Completed the sale of the “Jungle Palace”.

The “Jungle Palace” of the famous magicians Siegfried and Roy has been sold to circus owners for three million US dollars.

The estate of the legendary magicians Siegfried Fischbacher (1939-2021) and Roy Horn (1944-2020) has a new owner. The “jungle palace” in Las Vegas where they lived alongside their tigers and lions is being sold to circus owners, according to informed sources. Accordingly, the Carden family signed the purchase agreement for three million US dollars (about 2.8 million euros). They corresponded exactly to the asking price previously reported by the “Las Vegas Review Journal”.

Carden family wanted to prevent demolition

Brett Carden, owner of Carden International Circus, told TMZ that he and his father George were keen to buy the property and had big plans for it. Brett Carden revealed that he met Siegfried and Roy in Las Vegas when their circus was in town. And now that the house was up for sale, he was concerned that someone might buy it and tear it down. So he and his father would have struck.

The Cardens are considering the home as an investment and are considering turning it into a tourist attraction or short-term vacation rental, TMZ reports. Aside from their future plans, the family is happy to be the new owners of a piece of Las Vegas history.

That’s what the “Jungle Palace” has to offer

The 800 square foot 1954 mansion is located at 1639 Valley Drive. It features chandeliers, stained glass windows, water features and skylights. It features two bedrooms, four baths, an indoor jacuzzi, guest house, gazebo, bird sanctuary, animal enclosure and electric gates.

A legendary magician duo

“Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage Resort and Casino” was considered the most attended show in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. In 2003, however, the magician duo ended their active stage career after Horn was seriously injured by a tiger during a performance on stage.

Roy Horn died on May 8, 2020 as a result of complications from coronavirus disease. In January 2021, Siegfried Fischbacher also died after suffering from severe cancer.
