Movie star Andie MacDowell has given up hair coloring amid the pandemic. Today she feels “very comfortable” with her gray curls.

Andie MacDowell (64) loves her hair the way it is. The actress on how good she feels since she gave up dying her hair amid the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. And I’m really comfortable with where I am in my life right now.” MacDowell added, “I just want to enjoy the time that I’m in and be as real and honest as possible — not just with everyone else, but with myself.” In 2021, at the Cannes Film Festival, she showed up with gray hair for the first time.

MacDowell continued to tell Entertainment Tonight about her beauty secret, saying she’s just trying to take “really good” care of herself. This goes from healthy eating to getting enough sleep. She also loves hiking and yoga, according to the actress. Andie MacDowell said the “most important aspect” of her life right now is “deep, meaningful friendships.” Dating, on the other hand, costs a lot of energy, the 64-year-old joked.
