Some months ago, it was reported that members of the Justice Society, part of Black Adam, were going to be part of Fury of the Godsbut the director David F. Sandberg confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that that scene “it was canceled three days before filming it”forcing the director to find alternative characters at the last moment. Levi uploaded the post from The Wrap to his Instagram with the phrase: “The truth will make you free”.

Johnson pushed to have his one-man Black Adam movie for yearsdespite the antagonist is a classic character from Shazam comics and he refused to participate in the first film of that character. Attempting to use his film to reinstate Henry Cavill’s Superman, despite the universe being on the verge of being rebooted under James Gunn’s new command, Johnson tried to take creative control of the DC movies.

Black Adam’s disappointing box office didn’t help his plans and the reboot of James Gunn is already more than a fact. The new Shazam movie is not doing well at the box office either and Levi blamed “marketing” for not proving that it is “a movie for the whole family”.
