The most emblematic corners of the Colon Theaterthe building built at the beginning of the 20th century and emblem of the city for its architectural value and the prestige of its works, can be toured virtuallyfrom tomorrow, in the Decentral metaverse.
The release of this innovative experience occurs within the framework of second edition of Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW), a fashion event available in the virtual world Decentraland from this Wednesday until March 31, where Colón will be one of the spaces available to visit.

The virtual edition of the iconic theater, recreated to scale and in three dimensionswill be located in the Museum District, Decentraland’s first official arts venuea space that “it can be visited for free and from anywhere in the world”, according to a statement from the Buenos Aires government.
Within this district, users will be able to visit the virtual representation of the Teatro Colón from their computers to visit some of the most recognized spacessuch as the main hall, the concert hall and the golden hall, as well as enjoy digital artworks and exhibitions.
“Anyone with an Internet connection will be able to access this experience. To do so, you must enter the Decentraland website (play.decentraland.org) and customize the character you will use to move in the virtual world. The platform also offers the possibility of navigate with a random characterselecting the ‘Randomize’ option,” they reported.

Decentraland, the three-dimensional virtual reality platform created by Argentine developers, is the venue for different events and this year, it is organizing the second edition of Metaverse Fashion Week, which is held under the motto “Future Heritage”with the aim of functioning as a bridge that unites the new generation of digital creators and traditional fashion designers.
The Museum District, the first official art venue within the metaverse, became operational from joint work of digital artists and, from the success of the call, it grew to the point of incorporate spaces from the physical world such as the Teatro Colón, the National Gallery of Finland and the Pinta Miami Art Fairwho are also present on the spot.
