The official trailer for the fourth and final season of Barry of HBO (and also available at HBO Max) shows the hitman of Bill Hader In prison and looking for redemption, while those he left behind grapple with the impact of their murderous past.

The Emmy-winning comedy premieres the first two of its final eight episodes on Sunday, April 16. “It has been an incredible journey making this show, and it is bittersweet that the story has come to its natural conclusion,” Hader said in a statement.

“After three masterful seasons of Barry, we can’t wait for viewers to see the powerful, complex and hilarious conclusion to Barry Berkman’s story,” added Amy Gravitt, executive vice president of comedy programming for HBO and HBO Max.
Season 4’s tagline reveals almost nothing about the season’s story: “Cousineau (henry winkler) is hailed a hero as Barry’s arrest has shocking consequences.”
The show’s first three seasons received 44 Emmy nominations and nine awards, including Hader for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Winkler for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. The series is co-created by Hader and alec berg.
The returning supporting cast includes: Stephen Root as Monroe Fuches; Sarah Goldberg as Sally Reed; Anthony Carrigan as Noho Hank; Robert Wisdom as Jim Moss; michael irby like Christopher; Fred Melamed as Tom Posorro; andrew leeds like Leo; and Jessie Hodges like Lindsey; and new guest star, Patrick Fischler like lon oneil.
