“The series is about the moment when Rodolfo becomes Walsh. But it is not a fiction that tries to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. Set in 1956, the series that takes the origin of the novel “Operation Massacre” as a reference, tells the story of a journalist who, after the executions ordered to punish an uprising against the dictatorship, finds out that there is a survivor and begins to investigate with his young co-worker, with whom, in addition to beginning an affective bond, he embarks on an adventure full of intrigues and dangers.
“I don’t make a biopic of Walsh’s life, I’m not interested in biopics because today there is Google, the simple hard data of a person’s biography is on the internet. So what is interesting to me is that when you see a movie about someone, it has a poetic, epic dimension, and a dramatic curve that makes the viewer want to know more and not check what they already know,” said the filmmaker. as “Dress” and “John and Eve”.
