The casting show “The Voice of Germany” gets a new offshoot. The show will be called “The Voice Rap” and will run on ProSieben and Joyn in the second half of 2023, as the broadcaster family announced on Tuesday.

The spin-off should run parallel to “The Voice of Germany” in the program. “Two seasoned rap coaches create their own teams in the blind auditions of The Voice Rap.

The press release does not name names yet. With Sido, Max Herre as well as Michi Beck and Smudo from the Fantastischen Vier, several rappers were already jurors on “The Voice of Germany”.
