Composed of eight episodes, “The Family: an Australian cult” is a psychological thriller based on the crime best-seller “In The Clearing” from the author J.P. Pomareinspired by the inner sects of Australia and around the world.

Recorded in Victoria, Australia, the series narrates the nightmares that are lived within the sects and those of a woman who is forced to face the demons of her past to prevent the kidnapping and subjugation of innocent children in the future. . The series gets under the skin and inside the head of the viewer, blurring the lines between past and present, reality and nightmares, in a truly disturbing way.
