Chad Stahleski, director of the franchise starring Keanu Reeves, wants the Peaky Blinders actor for an upcoming movie.
Director Chad Stahleski revealed that he wants to hire the star of Peaky Blinders, cillian murphyfor a spin-off film in the universe of john wick.
The fourth installment of the action movie was released in March, and despite the shocking ending, Stahleski is looking for his next cast for a fifth film.
The franchise of john wick it’s also expanding with two spin-off projects in the works. Ana de Armas will star ballerinathe first sequel film in the John Wick franchise, set to be released in 2024. Additionally, the prequel show The Continental recently shared the trailer for the three-episode series ahead of its September 2023 premiere.
In an interview with The DirectStahleski revealed some of the actors he is interested in collaborating with. “There is a huge list, but the first thing that came to mind was Cillian Murphy”, said. “I’m a huge Peaky Blinders fan. So, you know, I think Cillian would be a perfect fit.”
He continued: “Colin Farrell is fantastic. Charlize Theron when she did Atomic Blonde, I saw her go, ‘Oh my God, I have to work with this woman. She is amazing. I worked with Michelle Yeoh years ago on a commercial and have been dying to work with her ever since. I’m a big fan.”
Meanwhile, Murphy will star in oppenheimer of Christopher Nolan. The full trailer was shared earlier this week, and the film will open in theaters on July 23.
