With her cameo appearance, Meadow Walker wants to pay tribute to her late father. The new film in the “Fast & Furious” series is coming to cinemas soon.
Meadow Walker (24), the daughter of the late “Fast & Furious” star Paul Walker, appears in the new installment of the action series. “I am so blessed to honor my father’s legacy and share it with him forever,” the US model wrote on Instagram. In the post, she referred to a so-called cameo appearance, but without giving any details about her role.
She was just a year old when the original film hit theaters. She grew up on the set and watched her father and his colleagues like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez or Jordana Brewster on the monitors. Walker wrote that she could hardly believe that she was there herself. She thanked director Louis Leterrier for his patience and support.
Paul Walker died in a car accident in 2013 at the age of 40.
The series about illegal street racing started in 2001 with “The Fast and the Furious” starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker (as undercover cop Brian O’Conner). “Fast X” (German title: “Fast & Furious 10”) is scheduled to hit German cinemas on May 17th. After that, an eleventh, concluding part of the action series is planned.
