Elliot Page (36) celebrates his new body image on Instagram and surprises his fans. The actor, who came out as transgender in 2020 and then had breast surgery, only wears a silver chain and a cap and gives the camera a self-confident look Smile.
He writes: “It feels so good to be in the sun now, I never thought I could experience this, the joy I feel in my body.” Because in the past his gender dysphoria, an incongruity between a person’s biological sex and the sex he feels psychologically, was “particularly pronounced in summer”.
“No layers, just a t-shirt – or layers and I was so sweaty I kept looking down and adjusting my oversized t-shirt,” Page recalls. He is all the more grateful today, also for what “health care made possible” for him. Finally, he announced that he would soon be able to tell more about his trip.
His autobiography will be published in the summer
Page made it public in December 2020 that he is trans. In a statement, the actor said, “I can’t begin to express how extraordinary it feels to finally love myself for who I am and to strive for my authentic self.” The trans community would have inspired him endlessly, Page said at the time. On June 6, 2023, Elliot Page will release his highly anticipated autobiography, Pageboy.
