Composed of 6 1-hour episodes, Diciembre 2001 follows Javier Cach, a political militant who works as an adviser to the Chief of Staff in a government that, with its erratic behavior in the hands of the ruling Alliance, faces one of the worst economic, political and social crises that the country has seen in its history, with the early resignation of a president, the death of dozens of Argentines due to police repression, a society that had its savings taken away and the historical exceptionality of five presidents in a week.
