Damon plays Sonny Vaccarothe maverick Nike salesman who signed the rising basketball player Michael Jordan in the mid-’80s with a shoe contract that launched the global multibillion-dollar contemporary sneaker industry.
Affleck plays the co-founder of Nike, Phil Knightwhile Viola Davis plays Deloris Jordanwho was instrumental in negotiating the settlement on behalf of his son.
