Music: Tour after a ski accident – acclaimed concert by Sarah Connor

A knee injury forced her to take a break – now musician Sarah Connor has reported back on stage full of energy. More than 9,500 fans cheered the 42-year-old at the start of the tour.

Back on stage after a skiing accident: Pop singer Sarah Connor celebrated the start of her Summer Open Air Tour in front of more than 9500 fans on Friday evening in Bad Segeberg. She’s looking forward to a “big party,” she said in a good mood at the beginning of the sold-out concert.

In good weather, the 42-year-old played big hits from her long career such as “Let’s Get Back to Bed – Boy!”, “How beautiful you are” or “Vincent” on the open-air stage on Kalkberg for two and a half hours. The enthusiastic audience sang along loudly.

In the past few months, it had become quiet around the mother of four. As she recently said in a video on social networks, a serious knee injury in a skiing accident in December was the reason for the break. “Now I’m back and you can see: my feet, my legs work,” she announced. At the start of the tour, she made it clear: “I’ve had a lot of energy built up in the last few months.” A little dancing in sneakers went quite well again.

Connor mainly presented German language songs from her albums “Muttersprache” and “Herz Kraft Werke”. She joked with the audience, brought a little girl on stage for a duet and had a fan buy her a beer. Only after several encores did she say goodbye to her fans and thank her for the great evening. Connor can be seen on open air stages nationwide until September 16th.
