Buckingham Palace has released new photos from Coronation Day – one picture shows the British king with his heirs to the throne.
A week after the coronation ceremony of King Charles III, 74, and his wife Queen Camilla, 75, Buckingham Palace has released more photos from the big day.
In one of two pictures, the king can be seen with his two next heirs to the throne. Charles sits in full regalia with crown, orb and scepter on his throne in London’s Buckingham Palace. His long ermine cloak hangs down the steps of the throne to the floor. The crown sits slightly askew on his head.
King Charles III immortalized in a picture with heirs to the throne
To his right is his eldest son Prince William, 40. He also wears ceremonial clothing that identifies him as a Knight of the Garter (Order of the Garter). To the king’s left is his grandson Prince George, 9, who has a hand on the armrest of the throne. As Charles looks blankly at the camera, William and his son George smile.

Another picture shows Charles with Camilla and the companions of the two as well as several boys who were allowed to wear the long cloaks of the royal couple at the coronation as pages. Among them is Prince George.
