Those were “the most magical moments” of her life so far, Emma said after being crowned the season 11 winner of The Voice Kids. The final, which was broadcast live on Sat.1 on Friday evening, was watched by a total of 4.26 million viewers.
Twelve children and young people made it into the last round of the German talent show, and the young Viennese’s rap performance apparently impressed the TV audience the most. In the end, she received the most votes and emerged as the winner. Visibly overwhelmed, Emma said she felt “like in a beautiful dream”. Mainly because she won with Eminem’s “Losing Yourself.” The US rapper is one of her biggest idols, revealed the 15-year-old.
Eminem saw Emma’s performance
Emma relied on an Eminem hit when she first appeared on “The Voice” stage and caused a sensation, especially on the internet. She became a star on the Tiktok video platform, and within a very short time Emma received millions of reactions. And Eminem himself hadn’t missed the opportunity to add his two cents. Although he only left an emoji with a raised brow as a comment, it was considered a sensation. It was the first time that an interpreter had reacted to a performance by “The Voice Kids” – nachrichten.at reported. Would he be tempted to congratulate the 15-year-old rap talent from Vienna on his victory?
One thing is certain: Many doors are now open to Emma. Among other things, she can look forward to a training grant of 15,000 euros.
In addition to her, another Viennese made it into the final of “The Voice Kids”: eleven-year-old Andrea sang a medley (“Singing in the Rain x Umbrella”) by Rihanna and Gene Kelly. To listen:
