Tic Tac Toe was one of the most successful girl bands of the 90s. But the success didn’t last long.
After a memorable argument at a press conference, the trio of Jazzy, Lee and Ricky broke up just 2 years after the band was founded.
None of the three band members could ever connect to their success again.
Jazzy and Lee looked for a new comrade in Sara Brahms in 2000, but the project flopped.
In 2005 the trio around Ricky, Jazzy and Lee actually started a comeback with the original line-up. With moderate success, the girl band broke up again.
Rumors of a comeback persist to this day.
In 2021, Jazzy explained in a “Musikexpress” podcast:
Unfortunately the book is not finished yet"
Whether there will be a comeback remains uncertain.
The life of the three band members has developed in different directions.
After a few TV appearances, Jazzy was the protagonist of the Vox show “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants” in 2015.
Since then she has lived with her husband and daughter on the Côte d’Azur in southern France.
Ricky, who suffered from depression for a while after the breakup, is rarely seen in the spotlight these days.
Today she leads a happy family life and works as a trained occupational therapist.
Years after the breakup, Lee worked at the cash register at Cologne Zoo for a while.
Nobody really knows what the former rapper is doing today.
Not even her former band members – who are in contact with her but don’t know where Lee lives.
