Hollywood star Uma Thurman stunned in a satin gown at Cannes. By her side was her son Levon Hawke.
Uma Thurman (53) accompanied her son Levon Hawke (21) to the Cannes Film Festival. The famous mother-son duo came to the premiere of Johnny Depp’s (59) film “Jeanne du Barry”. The 53-year-old actress dazzled in a pink satin sleeveless dress that reached the red carpet. She combined it with a wide, tight-fitting necklace and a pearl bracelet. The “Kill Bill” star had put her hair into an updo, and Thurman used subtle tones for her make-up. Levon, meanwhile, presented a sleek black tuxedo with a bow tie.
Levon also works as an actor
Levon Hawke comes from Uma Thurman’s marriage to fellow actor Ethan Hawke (52). The two Hollywood stars met on the set of the science fiction film “Gattaca” in 1997 and married a year later. Their daughter Maya was born in 1998 and Levon was born in 2002. Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke separated in 2003 and the divorce was finalized two years later.
The two children together have since started promising acting careers themselves. Maya Hawke is known, among other things, for the role of Robin Buckley in the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” and has also appeared in films such as Quentin Tarantino’s (60) “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood”. She also works as a model and musician. Levon Hawke is also in front of the camera. According to media reports, he is said to have appeared in the films “The Crowded Room” and “Das Dickicht”.
Uma Thurman also has a daughter, Luna Thurman-Busson, who was born in July 2012, from her relationship with Arpad Busson (60). Ethan Hawke married Ryan Shawhughes in 2008, with whom he had two more daughters: Indiana (born 2011) and Clementine Jane (born 2008).
