Leading actress Alicia Vikander (34) was the star on the red carpet at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Sunday in her delicate apricot-colored Louis Vuitton dress decorated with silver sequins. Together with her husband and fellow actor Michael Fassbender (46), she came to the famous Croisette in the southern French seaside resort to celebrate the premiere of her new film “Firebrand”.
Supermodels turn red carpet into catwalks
But the Swedish Oscar winner was not the only highlight on the red carpet. The actress was joined by models Irina Shayk, 37, Gigi Hadid, 28, and Naomi Campbell, 53, ahead of the film’s first official screening.
Irina Shayk presented the most revealing outfit, which consisted of only two wide straps in the upper part and had a particularly low-slung skirt. Gigi Hadid opted for an elegant and off-the-shoulder fishtail dress by Zac Posen with a striking silhouette.
The film “Firebrand” directed by Karim Aïnouz (57) is taking part in this year’s competition for the prestigious Palme d’Or.
