A beaming bridal couple and top-class guests: Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah married his fiancée, the Saudi Arabian architect Rajwa Al Saif, at a lavish ceremony. The wedding in the capital Amman included the British heir to the throne Prince William and his wife Princess Kate, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander with his wife Máxima and their daughter Amalia and the American First Lady Jill Biden.
The 29-year-old bride wore a long-sleeved white dress with a veil and long train by luxury designer Elie Saab and a sparkling tiara. By decree of the royal court, she was given the title of princess and the name Rajwa al-Hussein.
28-year-old Hussein is the eldest son of Jordanian King Abdullah II and his wife Rania. The wedding ceremony took place in the Zahran Palace. The groom’s parents had said yes there 30 years ago.
