Taylor Swift climbs the list of America’s self-made billionaires. Only a singer is more successful.
Taylor Swift (33) is the second richest self-made woman in the US music business. That’s going out. She even outperforms other superstars like Beyoncé (41) and Madonna (64). In a comparison of the richest US women from business and entertainment, it is only enough for 34th place overall.
Only a singer is richer
With an estimated net worth of around 740 million US dollars, Swift is on par with Lisa Su (53) from chip manufacturer AMD and April Anthony (56), head of a medical care provider. In 2022 alone, the singer is said to have earned around 92 million US dollars. At that time she ended up ninth in the list of best-paid entertainers in the previous year.
Entrepreneur and reality star Kylie Jenner (25) ranks 38th with an estimated $680 million, Madonna 45th with 580 million and Beyoncé 48th with 540 million. Canadian singer Céline Dion (55) ranks a little further down the list 480 million dollars in 56th place, her colleague Dolly Parton (77) and actress Reese Witherspoon (47) are in 59th place with 440 million dollars each. The legendary Barbra Streisand (81) follows in 61st place with 430 million.
The only singer on the list who can trump Swift — and by a wide margin — is Barbados native Rihanna, 35, who ranks No. 20 with an estimated $1.4 billion — a place ahead of Kim Kardashian, 42 estimated 1.2 billion. Meanwhile, Diane Hendricks (76) tops the list. The businesswoman has been leading the comparison for six years now – with a current estimate of around 15 billion US dollars.
