Singer Elton John is known for his flashy outfits. For a fundraising campaign, he is now calling on his fans to let out their “inner Elton”. Some celebrities have already done this.
For around 31 years now, the British entertainer Elton John (76) has been fighting the immune deficiency disease with his “Elton John AIDS Foundation”. On and in he has now presented his new fundraising initiative “The Rocket Fund”, with which he intends to raise $125 million over three years for the fight against AIDS. His goal is to defeat the disease by 2030.

In order to draw as much attention as possible to his initiative, the singer, who is famous for his flashy outfits and glasses, came up with something original: Under the title “Let your inner Elton out” (“Let your inner Elton out”), supporters of the campaign in their “best Elton-inspired look” and then post the crazy pics on their social media channels using the hashtag #InnerElton. To help fans a little, he added: “Think sequins, sunglasses and bright colors. Or whatever makes you feel the real you.”
