Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have finalized their divorce. The agreement is about custody and maintenance for son Maceo.
Halle Berry (57) can close a chapter. The US actress has ended the divorce dispute with her ex-husband, French actor Olivier Martinez (57). citing documents with the divorce and custody agreement.
According to the report, the two share joint custody of son Maceo, 9, with Berry agreeing to pay Martinez $8,000 a month in child support. She will also pay him “4.3 percent of any income over $2,000,000” as additional support. Berry is also said to pay for her son’s private school, uniforms and school supplies, as well as all extracurricular activities.
Met on the set
Martinez and Berry were a couple from 2010 to 2015. The two met on the set of the movie Dark Tide (2012). After two years of marriage, the two filed for divorce. “It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to divorce,” they said in a joint statement. “We move on with love and respect for one another and together we focus on what is best for our son.”
In December 2016, a judge ruled that Berry and Martinez were legally single, but the exes continued to negotiate custody and alimony.
Berry was previously married to former baseball player David Justice, 57, and R&B singer Eric Benét, 55. Daughter Nahla (15) comes from the relationship with Gabriel Aubry (46). Berry is now in a relationship with Van Hunt (53). The two made their relationship public in September 2020. According to media reports, they should have been together for several months at this point.
