“We have made Bariloche the destination with the most air connectivity in the country, having more than 30 daily flights, direct connection with 12 destinations without having to go through Buenos Aires, such as Mendoza, Rosario, Salta, Tucumán, Córdoba, El Calafate, Viedma , Mar del Plata and Puerto Madryn nationwide, said Gastón Burlón, Secretary of Tourism of Bariloche, adding: “we also have international flights that connect us directly with Brazil from the city of San Pablo” through 11 weekly frequencies, 3 weekly frequencies with Santiago de Chile and also charter operators that connect us with Uruguay.

The interest of neighboring countries in the city has expanded remarkably in recent years. “Within the influx of tourists, we have a large number of visitors from Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, as a result of negotiations with airlines, promotional actions that we carry out together with them, tour operators and participation in fairs international tourism,” added Burlón.

In the months of July and August, almost 2,000 flights arrived in the Andean town, according to data provided by Aeropuertos 2000, this generates expectations due to the extension of the winter season, since the constant arrival of tourists is expected during the month of September with about 27 daily arrivals, representing more than 20% than in 2022.
