What is Puan about?
“The film tells the story of Marcelo who has dedicated his life to teaching philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and who, faced with the unexpected death of his mentor, assumes that he will inherit the position of Chair. What he does not imagine is that Rafael, a charismatic and seductive colleague, will return from his pedestal in Europe to compete for the vacant position. Marcelo’s clumsy efforts to prove that he is the best candidate will trigger a fun duel, while his life and his world enter a spiral of chaos ”, thus advances the synopsis.
The cast includes Julieta Zylberberg, Alejandra Flechner, Cristina Banegas, Andrea Frigerio, Mara Bestelli, Gaspar Offenhenden and the special participation of Lali Espositoamong others.
The production was in charge of Pasto & Pucará Cine, in co-production with Infinity Hill, Kino Produzioni, Bubbles Project, Pandora Film Produktion and Atelier de Production.
