Last days to sign up for the Córdoba Acción audiovisual promotion program

The Córdoba Acción audiovisual promotion program, aimed at financing those national or international projects that film projects in the capital of that province, announced its last week of call for registrations, which will remain open until next Friday, September 1, inclusive.

The first edition of the initiative, launched by the Secretary of Culture of the Municipality of Córdoba and which can be managed through the web portal of the Filming and Audiovisual Management Office, aims to select proposals that may favor the hiring of professionals local and under the criteria of gender and diversity and sustainability policies.

Seeking to promote the Cordoba audiovisual industry and its associated services and an investment of 800 million pesos, Córdoba Acción -which opened its call on July 1st- offers financial support to projects through the cash rebate system, which consists of in the reimbursement of the amounts invested in activities related to the production of the item directly or indirectly and provides for the return of up to 80% of the filming expenses with a maximum of up to 80 million pesos for each proposal.

In addition, the budget of the program contemplates the provision of 600 million pesos for any filming, except those of advertising content, which will have a particular amount of 200 million pesos for financing.

The call, which will favor projects that hire highly qualified Cordovan professionals and include women workers or dissidents in their teams, will be supervised by the Association of Audiovisual Producers of the Province of Córdoba (Apac), and allows the presentation of creative Argentines or foreigners looking to shoot unitary or serial formats, short or feature films, fiction or documentaries, as well as advertisements, which are in any stage of production, with at least three consecutive days of shooting in the capital.

The program, which also has the support of the local Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Córdoba Acelera Entity, was born within the framework of the Regime for the Development and Promotion of the Audiovisual Industry, approved this year by the Deliberative Council of Córdoba.
