How Silvina Luna’s parents died

Her brother Ezequiel, who accompanied her daily during her hospitalization, revealed that Silvina had asked to see her parents in recent days. However, they had both passed away long ago, when she was very young.

In 2008, when the actress was 28 years old, her father passed away, Sergio Luna. Because of his work, he traveled frequently, and suffered a cardiac arrest during one of his trips.

He was 50 years old. His death was totally unexpected and sudden, and it caused great shock in the family. But it would not be the only blow they had to face that year.

Five months later, while they were still trying to recover from that loss, Silvina Luna’s mother also died, Roxana Cheri was 49 years old, and died as a result of a gastric problem.

The tragedy that she experienced during that year made Silvina Luna mature, who commented on several occasions the tremendous pain caused by the early loss of her parents. She even commented that she had turned to various spiritual practices like meditation and yoga for solace.

“So much pain made me grow suddenly, mature, value life”said the model at that time. “Before, she was dissatisfied and she always wanted more and more,” she admitted in an interview with Gente magazine.
