In their podcast “Die Pochers” (exclusively on Podimo), Amira and Oliver Pocher hinted months ago, now it’s official: the celebrity couple is getting divorced after four years of marriage.
The couple announced the news on Thursday (August 31) in their joint podcast. In the new episode, Amira said: “We thought that this is probably the best way we can say it: We are separated”. With regard to the future career together, she added: “Hopefully we can do it and will continue to be a team.”
Oliver Pocher: “I didn’t want to split up”
In comparison, Oliver’s reaction was rather resigned. He said: “I can’t say any more about it now, what can I say, I don’t want to spread fortune cookie phrases or say pathetically, we’ll stay connected forever, I find it exhausting.” And admitted: “I didn’t want to split up. Now the situation is the way it is, and you have to accept that now and see how it goes.”
The two already confirmed in June that the situation in the Pocher house was “difficult”. The ex-couple looks back on seven years of relationship, which was characterized by plenty of emotions and provocations, but also by a lot of loving moments – like the birth of their sons.
