The initiative of deputy Claudio Romero was approved during the ordinary session in recognition “of the talent, dedication and contribution to the music industry of Mauro Ezequiel Lombardoknown artistically as Duki.”
“His music has transcended borders and has left a lasting mark on the history of urban music,” adds the voted distinction, which also maintains that the honoree is “a talented young man who represents an example of perseverance and improvement, and his history inspires many.”
Remember that Duki was born on June 24, 1996 in the Almagro neighborhood and grew up in La Paternal, both in the City of Buenos Aires; while he highlights that in 2016 he achieved “an important leap” in his career by becoming champion in the now classic freestyle battle competition. “The Fifth Step”which took place in Parque Rivadavia, Buenos Aires.
The artist will give two concerts on December 2 and 3 at the Monumental stadium in River Plate.
