Netflix presented the first trailer of The fall of the House of Usherthe eight-episode limited series of Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House) based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. The premiere date will be Thursday, October 12.
Starring Bruce Greenwoodwho replaced Frank Langella starring in April 2022 after Langella was fired following a misconduct investigation, the series is described as an epic story of greed, horror and tragedy. The story of Poe, The fall of the House of Usherwhich serves as the basis for the show, features themes of madness, family, isolation, and identity.
