What Band of Brothers is about
band of brothers follows the journey of a US Army company from parachute training in Georgia, to the capture of Hitler’s eagle towards the end of World War II. It draws on interviews, letters and diaries from Easy Company survivors to provide an authentic account of the horror of war.
Among the elements that draw attention to this series is the development of its characters. The cast was made up of some of today’s favorite stars, such as James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, Jimmy Fallon and even David Schwimmer.
Each of the events shown in the plot tried to be as close to the real story as possible, so some of the real characters appear in pre-recorded interviews as a prologue to each episode.
