The musician Michael Schulte is the father of two sons aged two and five. Now he is publicly concerned about his children.
Pop singer Michael Schulte (33) is increasingly having to explain things to his children because of his fame. “The older one is now slowly realizing what it means when your dad is famous. He sees that people talk to me on the street and want photos with me,” Schulte told the German Press Agency.
The musician from Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein and his wife Katharina have two sons aged two and five. “I hope that they won’t be bullied at school later because of me. That the kids will find my pop music totally uncool because they’re all listening to trap. I hope that my sons won’t suffer from that.”
The 33-year-old, who took fourth place at the ESC in 2018 with his ballad “You Let Me Walk Alone”, is releasing his album “Remember Me” on Friday. In the title song of the same name, he imagines how his children will remember him.
