Serious allegations against Jason Derulo (34): The US singer is now facing a lawsuit in which he is accused of sexual harassment. As several US media outlets consistently report, 25-year-old singer Emaza Gibson claims that the US music star demanded sexual favors from her in return for a business favor.
Plaintiff is “traumatized”
Specifically, Derulo is said to have helped her get a record deal and then demanded sex from Gibson, which the singer refused. She also did not accept invitations to dinner or drinks in the recording studio from the musician in order to keep the relationship professional. Derulo is said to have reacted coldly and aggressively.
Emaza Gibson recently told NBC News that she is now scared and “traumatized.” Her record contract with Atlantic Records was terminated in September 2022. “I have had to deal with inhumane work situations. […] I’m at a point where I’m back to square one and have nothing left.”

Jason Derulo has since responded to the allegations.
“Normally I wouldn’t comment, but these allegations are completely false and hurtful,” he said. “I reject any form of harassment and continue to support anyone who pursues their dreams. I have always strived to make my life positive and that is why I sit before you deeply offended by these defamatory claims.”
