The acting world is mourning the sudden death of “Friends” star Matthew Perry (1969-2023). Now actor John Stamos (60) has dedicated moving words to his friend and colleague and shared an anecdote from the “Friends” set.
On an excerpt from the popular series, in which Stamos guest-starred in 2003: “Matthew and I were friends long before ‘Friends.’ So when I took on the guest role as Zach, a potential sperm donor for Chandler and Monica, I spent a lot of time with him.”

When he came through the door, however, it was quiet, Stamos remembers. After the scene he was embarrassed and wanted to withdraw. But then Matthew Perry stood in front of the audience and said: “Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for John Stamos! Matthew Perry, who starred in all ten seasons of the NBC sitcom “Friends” in the role of Chandler Bing from 1994 to 2004, was found lifeless in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home on October 28, according to US media reports. The exact cause of death has not yet been clarified. The “Friends” star was 54 years old.
