This year, the winner – who came in first place in the top 10– was a Norwegian cheese called Nidelven Blåwhich has already received other international awards, and, according to tasters, stands out for its texture, short creaminess, very dense sweetness and slight bitterness.

The Argentine cheese that won a gold medal is produced by the Ventimiglia Cheese Factory in Black riverand it is a Saint Maureen with 45 days of tuning. This year was the first time that the business participated in the competition, and they managed to win great recognition.
At the same time, the cheese factory also obtained a silver medal for its 4 Corners cheese; and two bronze medals for a cheese goat and a blue cheese made with cow’s and sheep’s milk.
