British Royals: Queen Camilla feeds small elephant

The British royal couple also has to face unpleasant questions about colonialism during their state visit to Kenya. In between, Camilla has a break with elephants.

Great Britain’s Queen Camilla (76) helped feed a small elephant during her state visit to Kenya. On Wednesday she visited the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an organization that works to save orphaned elephants. Camilla held out a large plastic bottle to an animal there, as seen in the pictures.

King Charles III (74) and his wife are in Kenya until Friday. After state visits to Germany and France, they are traveling to a Commonwealth country for the first time since Charles’s accession to the throne last year.
