As a teenager he appeared in series and films, but in 2010 he became quiet. Now Evan Ellingson has died at just 35 years old.
The American actor Evan Ellingson (1988-2023) has died. Ellingson was found lifeless in his home in the Californian city of Fontana on November 5th at the age of just 35. Ellingson was known for roles in the drama “My Sister’s Life” and the series “CSI: Miami,” among other films.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office medical examiner’s office confirmed Ellingson’s death in both cases. The cause of death should therefore be examined in an autopsy. The father of the deceased said that the actor had allegedly struggled with addiction problems in the past, but that he was recently on the road to recovery.
From “24” to “CSI: Miami”
Born in 1988, the actor first rose to prominence in the early 2000s. He was seen in his first roles in the comedy show “MADtv” and in the sitcom “Titus”. As a teenager and young adult, he followed, among other things, the sitcom “Complete Savages” and several episodes of the series “24”, in which he played the nephew of the main character Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland (56).
He finally appeared alongside Cameron Diaz (51) and Alec Baldwin (65) in “My Sister’s Life” in 2009 and in several seasons of the crime series “CSI: Miami” as the son of leading actor David Caruso (67). After that, however, Ellingson became quiet on TV and on the screen. Since then he has not appeared in any further roles.
