Somewhere in Germany there is a suitcase with a million euros. Joko and Klaas hid him. To find him, puzzles have to be solved.
The entertainers Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf have hidden a suitcase containing one million euros somewhere in Germany. In their new campaign “Joko & Klaas Live: The Treasure Hunt”, the two audience favorites are spreading their hard-earned broadcast time over several evenings for the first time. “Today we will start an action that will change life in Germany forever,” Klaas promised on ProSieben on Wednesday evening.
Joko added: “We will hide a treasure and each of you will have the opportunity to find it.” The duo opened a metal suitcase containing many wads of cash. Every day at 8:15 p.m. there are new puzzles and thus clues to the whereabouts of the suitcase. The broadcasting time, which is freely available to both of them, will be divided up to and including Tuesday (November 14th). To start, they sat at two ends of a table and repeatedly said the words “So”, “Nope” and “How” to each other, with alternating hand gestures. The code behind the scene leads to numbers.
ProSieben explained in a statement: “Only those who correctly decipher all the puzzles by next Tuesday will receive the geo-coordinates and the numerical code for the suitcase. Whoever finds themselves at the secret location first and can open the treasure chest will receive one million euros.” Joko and Klaas regularly compete against their employer on the show “Joko and Klaas against ProSieben”. If they win the show on Tuesday evening, they can do whatever they want for 15 minutes live on prime time television the day after.
