What Rebel Moon is about
After crashing on a remote moon, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a young woman with a mysterious past, begins a new life in a peaceful rural neighborhood. But everything changes when the tyrant Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein), discover that the farmers were unknowingly selling their crops to the Bloodaxe (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher), leaders of a fierce group of insurgents wanted by the Homeworld. Now, the only hope of survival depends on Kora. The Stranger and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a kind farmer oblivious to wars, must recruit a group of brave men willing to give their lives to protect the inhabitants of Veldt. As they travel through different worlds in search of the Bloodaxe, they forge a small group of warriors united by their need to redeem themselves: Kai (Charlie Hunnam), pilot and hitman; General Titus (Djimon Hounsou), legendary leader; Nemesis (Doona Bae), expert with the sword; Tarak (Staz Nair), blue blood prisoner, and Milius (E. Duffy), resistance fighter. Meanwhile, on Veldt, an old android named Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins in the English version) rises with a new purpose.
