Charles has been King of Britain for just over a year now. The celebrations begin on the eve of his 75th birthday.
King Charles received a cake early for his 75th birthday. The British monarch’s birthday is actually on Tuesday, but he was already standing in front of a three-tiered cake on Monday. The British news agency PA reported that he met members of the society at his country estate Highgrove. A choir sang “Happy Birthday”.
Other people who will turn 75 this year should also take part in the afternoon tea. In addition, the 75th anniversaries of the founding of the National Health Service (NHS) and the arrival of the first guest workers from the Caribbean (“Windrush Generation”) should be celebrated.
Charles was born on November 14, 1948 in Buckingham Palace, London. He has been at the head of the British monarchy since the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, more than a year ago.
