“Mozart in Essence”an immersive journey through the musical universe of the Austrian composer under the baton of Maestro Patricia Pouchuluwith the participation of the Symphony Orchestra of La Bella Músicawill be presented on Thursday, November 30 at 8:30 p.m. at the Teatro Avenida in Buenos Aires.
With the support of Cultural Patronage of Buenos Aires 2023, the embassies of Austria and Germany; Sponsored by the Austrian company Voestalpine High Performance Metals Argentina SA and produced by the La Bella Música Association, “Mozart in essence” will come to life through an orchestra made up of musicians from the orchestras Philharmonic of Buenos Aires, Stable of the Teatro Colón, Stable of the Argentine Theater of La Plata and National Symphony.
The concert will feature Daniel Robuschi in the role of concertmaster, the participation of soloists such as Lucrecia Jancsa on harp and Patricia Dalt on flute, Pablo Scenna on mandolin and the voices of Laura Polverini, Guadalupe Cristina, Patricio Oliveira, Leonardo Estevez and Victor Torres.
The program will include excerpts from Mozart’s production of the Queen of the Night arias, the Portrait of Tamino aria, and Papageno and Papagena’s duet from “The Magic Flute”; in addition to the canzonetta “Deh vieni alla finestra”, and the duet “La ci darem la mano”, both from the opera “Don Giovanni”. Meanwhile, the pure instrumental music created by the composer born in Salzburg on January 27, 1756 will be represented by the “Concerto for flute and harp with string orchestra, oboes and horns” and the four movements of Symphony No. 40 K .550.
