Peter Klein will soon be moving into the “PBB” house. In the interview he talks about his participation and his relationship of trust with Yvonne Woelke.
Peter Klein (56) will move into the “Celebrity Big Brother” house on November 18th and will then be under 24-hour camera observation via live stream on Joyn Plus+. The new season of the reality show starts shortly afterwards on Sat.1 on November 20th at 8:15 p.m. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, Klein talks about the reasons for his participation, the challenges of the show and his plans after a possible victory. The candidate, who was in the headlines due to affair rumors about him and Yvonne Woelke (41) and the subsequent end of his marriage to Iris Klein (56), also explains how he deals with negative comments and how he feels about Yvonne Woelke today.
Why did you decide to go to the “Celebrity Big Brother” house?
Peter Klein: There was no maybe for me. If “Celebrity Big Brother” wants me there, I will definitely say yes. Why? Clearly, for me this is the opportunity to show what and who I am on my own without other influences.
Are you worried that you will encounter a lot of negative reactions (from roommates, from viewers) after the fuss surrounding your marriage breakup?
Klein: There will definitely be one or two reactions to this. But I have no concerns, why should I? I can also respond to negative reactions and perhaps even eliminate prejudices.
What image do you want viewers to get of you through “Celebrity Big Brother,” especially after all the headlines?
Klein: I am a very empathetic person who initially approaches everything positively, although reserved, but still open towards people. I can deal with stress and anger, but I am never the instigator of such situations and tend to act mediatively. People will notice that.
Will you dispel rumors and speculation on the show, how private do you want to be on the show?
Klein: Rumors are usually nothing more than false claims – for whatever reason, usually to distract from yourself and to attract attention. Addressing this would only fuel the rumors. I will discuss and discuss personal matters as I feel, but only up to a certain point. You don’t have to reveal everything.
The reports about you don’t stop. How do you currently feel about Yvonne Woelke?
Klein: Yvonne is my confidant and closest friend, my biggest support since Australia.
How have you dealt with the fact that you are both increasingly in the public eye over the past few months?
Klein: Being in the public eye makes some things easier, but it also makes many things more complicated or even impossible. Dealing with it is sometimes not easy, but you grow into the situation and know how to handle it.
Who has been the most supportive or what has helped you the most in dealing with negative comments?
Klein: I get the greatest support in this regard from Yvonne and my management. But my family also supports me here and supports me when things get too much.
What do you have the most respect for in “Celebrity Big Brother” and what will you miss most in the shared apartment?
Klein: I’ve been thinking about it again over the last few days, as the time is getting closer and closer. Sure, living with strangers in a small space and in difficult conditions is certainly not easy, but when hardship is added to the mix, it becomes intense. Hunger and a lack of contact with familiar people make this even worse. I hope that there will at least be coffee in the house, that combined with a few rays of sunshine would be half the battle.
What do you say to your previous roommates? Did you know anyone before?
Klein: An interesting mix so far. I actually know some of them personally, even if only superficially. I am excited.
Who do you think could cause the most stir in the house?
Klein: In my opinion, it depends on who can work with whom and who can’t. Often participants come to the fore that were not even on the screen. So I’m holding back on making predictions for now.
It is new that the residents can be seen in the live stream at any time. How do you find that?
Klein: I find this innovation to be welcome. Then excuses like, it’s because of the editing, because it wasn’t like that at all, simply fall away because you can understand everything.
What would you do with the prize money?
Klein: Definitely invest. I now have to think more about later. It’s important to create a few more securities that will benefit me later.
