Back to the roots: Prince Harry’s wife is happy to be working in the film industry again. However, she is keeping to herself for now what exactly she wants to do.
Duchess Meghan says she is very happy to be working in the film industry again. The 42-year-old said this on Thursday evening in an interview on the red carpet of a gala event called “Power of Women” by “Variety” magazine in Los Angeles.
“This industry is so special. And you see how many women use their position to do good,” said Prince Harry’s wife (39). She added: “I’m just thrilled to be back (…)”.
Meghan was also very pleased that the legal series “Suits,” in which she once starred, is experiencing a renaissance on the streaming service Netflix. “Good shows last forever,” she said. Harry and Meghan, whose six-part documentary about their break with the British royal family became a streaming success, also work for Netflix with their production company Archewell Productions.
Speaking about her current projects, which as far as she knows she isn’t in front of the camera herself, she said: “We have so many exciting things on the list, I can’t wait to announce them, but I’m just really proud of it “What we create. My husband loves it too, which is really fun.”
The couple broke away from the royal family’s inner circle almost four years ago. The two now live in the US state of California with their children Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2). The relationship with the royals is considered tense.
