The London auction house Bonhams wants to auction around 450 objects from the six seasons. These include a gold-colored carriage, pieces of furniture and custom-made clothing. “The iconic costumes, props and sets from “The Crown” were extensively researched”, said the auction house. They are made with impressive attention to detail.
Actress Claire Foy, for example, played the young Queen Elizabeth II in the first episodes. Her costume from the coronation scene is now being auctioned off and is expected to fetch around 30,000 to 50,000 pounds, which is the equivalent of around 34,000 to 57,000 euros.

Downing Street front door, Lady Di’s engagement ring
Also being sold is a replica front door of London’s Downing Street government headquarters, a replica Princess Diana’s engagement ring and a vintage Jaguar car. The auction is scheduled to take place in early 2024. The proceeds will be used to support a scholarship program for filmmakers.
Also being auctioned is a black dress called the Revenge Dress (“Revenge dress”) is inspired. Princess Diana once wore the dress at an appearance after her separation from the then Prince Charles, when his infidelity became public. Actress Elizabeth Debicki’s wardrobe also includes a leopard print swimsuit and a gray sweater with Harvard University inscription.
