George Clooney doesn’t leave his wife Amal out in the cold. The lawyer braved the cold and wet in a sleeveless outfit in London.
George Clooney (62) has proven that he is a real gentleman. On Sunday (December 3), he held an umbrella to protect his wife Amal Clooney, 45, from the rain in the British capital before a special screening of his new film “The Boys In The Boat” in London.
Amal Clooney in an elegant black outfit
The human rights lawyer walked the red carpet at the event in an elegant black ensemble. The 45-year-old presented a sleeveless one-shoulder velvet top that also left her waist exposed. She also combined a dark, tight-fitting, long skirt and stylish black stilettos. Amal Clooney added a color accent with her bright red lipstick and wore her brunette hair down. Beside her, George Clooney dazzled in a tailored gray suit, which he wore over a white shirt.
That’s what “The Boys in the Boat” is about
“The Boys in the Boat” was directed by George Clooney. The film is based on Daniel James Brown’s 2013 book “The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.” It tells the story of a U.S. rowing team from the University of Washington in the 1930s years – from its beginnings in the time of the great economic crisis to winning gold at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. The cast of the film includes Joel Edgerton (49), Sam Strike (29), Jack Mulhern (29) and Callum Turner (33).
Speaking about filming, Callum, who plays Joe Rantz in the film, revealed that the actors learned to row and trained for six weeks before production began: “Everyone pushed themselves and everyone pushed each other to go as fast as they could.”
