A corona infection left the Hollywood star confined to bed last year. Now Cloney reveals: He directed “The Boys in the Boat” from his bed.
Hollywood star George Clooney said he fell ill with Covid while filming his film “The Boys in the Boat” and continued working remotely. “I was really sick,” the 62-year-old told US magazine People. It was his first infection with the coronavirus.
According to People, the film was shot in 2022 and was directed by Clooney. After the infection, he continued to direct the work from his bedroom – fortunately not for very long: “We only had to do that for a week,” Clooney continued. The film adaptation of Daniel James Brown’s historical novel is scheduled to hit US cinemas at Christmas.
