Riccardo Simonetti appeared at the German Film Ball in Munich without his engagement ring. In the interview, the entertainer gave the all-clear.
For Riccardo Simonetti (30), the 48th German Film Ball last Saturday evening (January 20th) was special in two ways. “I’m pretty excited, it’s the first media event I’ve attended since my engagement,” explained the entertainer on the red carpet in Munich. And: “As luck would have it, I forgot my engagement ring. That’s why I’ve been busy denying separation rumors all evening.”
“Happily engaged”
He was just doing sports and forgot to “put my rings back on.” His engagement ring is still so sacred to him, which is why he always takes it off and he has now forgotten it for the film ball. “But it’s all good, we’re still happily engaged.”
The engagement still feels very nice and the anticipation for the wedding is increasing. “So far I’ve only been to a wedding of two men once, which made me very touched and happy. In my circle of friends, there aren’t that many same-sex couples who take the step of getting engaged and getting married. That’s why I enjoy every second about it and also find it exciting and exciting,” explained Simonetti. However, during the wedding preparations, nothing has been decided yet as to what he would be willing to communicate, the 30-year-old added.
Simonetti appeared at the glamorous event at the Bayerischer Hof wearing a bow tie and a classic black tuxedo by Hugo Boss. He completed this with make-up, earrings and a bag, “so that it feels like me again,” explained the entertainer, who also wore his long hair in a side parting and in light waves inspired by Lindsay Lohan (37).
After three years of relationship, Simonetti announced his engagement to his partner Steven on Instagram in November 2023. At the beginning of 2021 he revealed that he was in a relationship with a kiss photo. Accordingly, he got together with his boyfriend in 2020.
