Britney Spears praises Justin Timberlake’s return to music

Britney Spears is totally in favor of the musical return of Justin Timberlakedespite what his fans may think.

In a Sunday night post on her Instagram (which is now private), Spears praised Timberlake’s new song, “Selfish”and at the same time apologized for “some of the things” he wrote in his memoirs, “The Woman in Me”.

“I want to apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. “If I offended any of the people I really care about, I’m deeply sorry,” Spears wrote alongside a video of Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon performing the song in the host’s “Classroom Instruments” segment. “I also wanted to say that I’m in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song, ‘Selfish.’. It’s so good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so much? PS ‘Sanctified’ is amazing too.”

Spears’ praise comes after her fans upset Timberlake on Friday by pushing her 2011 song “Selfish” onto the charts. Spears’ “Selfish” reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, surpassing Timberlake’s new song just one day after its release.

Spears’ fans have long had a vendetta against Timberlake, with whom the singer “Toxic” It came out between 1999 and 2002, but was revived with the publication of Spears’ memoirs. In her book, Spears revealed that she had an abortion during her relationship.

“Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. “He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young,” Spears wrote. “It was a surprise, but for me it was not a tragedy. I loved Justin very much. I always hoped that one day we would have a family together. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been up to me alone, I never would have done it.
